My motivation

Already as a young person, I was interested in development policy issues: Why is the inequality between the North and the South so enormous, why do we have an economic advantage just because we were born here by chance?

I pursued the big picture in my political science studies, where it quickly became clear that I wanted to work in the field of international cooperation. I lived in Peru and Brazil for several years and designed and managed projects in the areas of climate change adaptation and resource conservation.

After more than 10 years of work experience in development cooperation, I have been responsible for Vivamos' vocational education and training projects since 2021. I appreciate Vivamos for its authenticity as an organisation, its work on an equal footing with local partners and the working and growth culture.
