Sabine Maurer

My motivation

My first visit to Haiti in 2002 opened my eyes to the inequalities in the world and my first fundraising success as part of an employee programme at a telecommunications company sparked my interest in fundraising.

As a career changer with a business background, I joined Vivamos in institutional fundraising in 2016 via Pro Senectute Canton of Zurich, where I was involved in public fundraising. I appreciate the "start-up" feel at Vivamos, the work in a small team and the shared commitment to development cooperation.
